All about our art camp!

We love to encourage creativity and self expression through painting, drawing and crafts! Our students enjoy multiple messy and immersive projects each day in art camp. All projects are appropriate for elementary aged children (ages 5-12) and are sure to put a smile on their face! Some of the materials/projects we teach are, collage making, acrylic painting, watercolor painting, oil pastel drawing, pencil drawing, slime, tie die and much more. The themes of our projects will be based on the seasons, animals, nature, people, abstract as well as learning about different artists and art movements in History. Every day will have different art projects, no lessons are repeated. Children will complete 2-4 projects per day and all projects are suitable for both boys and girls.

Art camp is for ages 5-12 and we limit enrollment to 12 students per week.

ART CAMP FEES:

Half day (Per week) $199 9am-12pm OR 12pm-3pm

Full day (Per week) $299 9am-3pm

Full day (Per Day) $70 9am-3pm

NOW OFFERING AFTERCARE until 6pm! ($225/week) - Limited to 8 students

This option will be available to you during the registration process.

SPRING ART CAMP DATES: March 16 -March 20

The per day option for Spring break camp will become available March 13 if we do not fill to capacity.

“Springtime magic: Art in bloom”

A joyful art camp where creativity blossoms! Young artists will explore colors, textures and wonders of spring through hands on indoor art projects inspired by flowers, insects, weather and new life. Students will experiment with drawing, painting, mixed media and simple sculpture while learning basic art concepts such as color mixing, pattern recognition and composition. Each day encourages imagination, self expression and confidence as kids bring their spring visions to life.

SUMMER ART CAMP DATES (2026): June 8 - August 7 - ENROLLMENT OPENS IN FEBRUARY

Enrollment for Summer camp will be available on a per-week basis. The per-day option will become available on the Saturday morning before each week begins if we do not reach capacity (12 students) for that upcoming week. aftercare is only available to students enrolled for the full week.

Weekly themes:

Week 1 - Color Explosion (June 8 - 12)

Focus: color mixing, bold choices, experimentation. Projects: drip paintings, color wheel animals, rainbow collage, watercolor resist art and more.

Week 2 - under the sea adventures (June 15 - 19)

Focus: texture, pattern, imagination. Projects: mixed media ocean scenes, clay sea creatures, jellyfish mobiles, foil fish and sea creature paintings.

Week 3 - Fantasy & fairy tales (June 22 - 26)

Focus: storytelling through art. Projects: castles, dragons, fairy houses, mythical creature design and illustrated mini storybooks.

Week 4 - Art around the world (June 29 - July 3)

Focus: cultural inspiration and pattern. Projects: Aboriginal dot art, African masks, Japanese koi painting, Frida Kahlo’s self portrait and more.

Week 5 - Nature and creature creators (July 6 - 10)

Focus: Observation + Imagination. Projects: animal portraits, bud scultpures, leaf rubbings, fantasy hybrids (half animal, half plat) and more.

Week 6 - Superheroes and Sidekicks (July 13 - 17)

Focus: character design & self expression. Projects: Super hero self portraits, logo design, comic strips, cape pattern designs and more.

Week 7 - Messy Masterpieces (July 20 - 24)

Focus: process art and sensory fun. Projects: Painting without traditional brushes, marble rolling art, splatter paint, texture tools, UV light glow painting and more.

Week 8 - Mini makers & sculptors (July 27 - 31)

Focus: 3D thinking and building. Projects: clay animals, recycled sculptures, cardboard cities, paper mâché creations.

Week 9 - Imagination station (August 3 - 7)

Focus: Open-ended creativity. Projects: Invention drawings, dream rooms, magical vehicles, “anything goes” mixed-media masterpieces.

Lunch/ Snack time:

Lunch time is at 11:45am-12:15pm (for full day) and we do offer 2 snack times at 10am and 2pm for 10-15 min. Full day enrolled students must bring a lunch and at least one snack (2 is recommended). Half day enrolled children are encouraged to bring a snack and may bring a lunch to eat during the designated lunch time if preferred. Please do not send your child with any nut containing foods as we have students and a teacher with nut allergies.

Aftercare info:

Aftercare will be available until 6pm. All children enrolled in aftercare must be picked up by 6pm, no exceptions. A snack and juice will be provided by our studio for each child. Snacks may include but are not limited to: apples, grapes, bananas, crackers, chips or popcorn. If your child has food allergies, please make sure to provide that information during registration so we do not offer unsafe foods to your child.

Activities: During aftercare, we will provide a variety of activities to entertain such as sketchbook drawing, games and movies. Children are allowed to bring entertainment from home such as tablets, books and toys but they must remain in their belongings until aftercare begins at 3pm.

Enrollment: Aftercare is available on a weekly basis only due to limited enrollment. If we do not fill to capacity, we may allow a per day option but it will not be available to register online, you must reach out to Mrs. Robyn via email to inquire robyartsy@gmail.com

Miscellaneous info:

Our studio will open at 8:30am for morning drop offs. Children enrolled in afternoon half day or full day camp must be picked up no later than 3:10pm unless enrolled in aftercare. For students dropped off at 8:30am, we will provide games and drawing paper to pass the time before our first activity begins.

Please make sure to pick up your child/children on time as we do have classes scheduled after camp and if your child is picked up late it can potentially impact the quality in service to our afternoon class students.
